Capitol Tap, founded in 2010, is cultivating tap dance’s next generation of musicians, dancers, technicians, historians, and educators.  With a repertoire of works spanning Bojangles to Michelle Dorrance, this award-nominated ensemble has collaborated with a full orchestra for an evening-length production, selected by Capitol One Small Business for a marketing campaign, and co-presented by Dance Place in Washington, DC three successive years.  Ensemble members aged 9 to 18 have been awarded merit-based scholarships, booked for professional gigs and tours, and selected for the Tap School at Jacob’s Pillow.  Capitol Tap is a resident ensemble of Knock On Wood Tap Studio in Washington, DC.   

District Tap, founded in 2016, is an adult advanced repertory company focused on the preservation of historical tap dance works, the creation of new works, and sharing the art form in entertainment and educational settings.  Our members are both part-time and full-time professional dance educators and performers.  District Tap is a resident ensemble of Knock On Wood Tap Studio in Washington, DC.

Monumental Tap, founded in 2023, is an adult intermediate repertory company with the debut season in 2023-2024.  Our members are dedicated tap dance enthusiasts.  Monumental Tap is a resident ensemble of Knock On Wood Tap Studio in Washington, DC.

Percussion Discussion Productions, founded in 2017, produces tap dance events in the greater Washington-DC area with a focus on collaborating with area organizations, amplifying the art form.
